Workshop 3.0

Workshop

From the “big” city to the countryside.
From Workshop 2.0 to Workshop 3.0.

Still 1 table to paint on, but a whole room to work in. 2012

One whole room just for painting and I just used a corner of that room. I build myself a paintrack for all my Games Workshop (Citadel) paints.. and the few Vallejo dropper bottles. But is was already more dedicated to D&D than Warhammer.

On the desk I can see a cardboard printout of a mideavel house. In those days I did not wanted to spend to much time to build scenery. Therefore I used some paper houses I found on the internet. Those looked nice, but not the same as scratchbuild houses. Those would have a more 3D feel to it.

I also spotted my first Hobby Zone module: the Brush & Tool standard. I did not like that module very much. It look good and was sturdy. But it had to much holes for brushes. lf You would out a brush in every hole, you would not be able to get brushes out of it without touching (and damaging) multiple other brushes. But then you do not need so much brushes.

In the years after this, I changed the layout of this room several times. What resulted in Workshop 3.1.
