Sorry that I am a bit behind my updates… But I started this new project to raise awareness and funds for the Trevor Project with their Fabulous Marines Pride month project. I had a big pile of stuff to choose from (really Baldie? You have a big pile of mini’s?). I was thinking of painting a Sisters of Battle squad in the LGBTQ colors. Or a squad of Gay knights.. Euhr.. Grey knights (sorry for the pun). Maybe do a dragon again.. as I painted one last year (and never finished.. *sigh*).
But then I just wanted to challenge me to make something ugly into something nice. One of the Maggotkin of Nurgle: Blight lord on a Pussgoyle. Let’s make it less Nurgle and more Pride, by painting it in the the LGBTQ colors and just “glitter” it up. And this is my progress so far.
Most of the work is done on stream (on Twitch) but I did the pride flag off stream last sunday. I will be working on this model today (mainly the wings) and later this evening on stream (7.30 pm UK / 8.30 pm CET / 2.30 pm ET).
