Workshop 1.0

Workshop
Home made paintstand with GW hex pots on a kitchen table. 1990's.

My first painting “Workshop”. On a kitchen table – although it was not standing in our kitchen – with a plastic sheet and the famous Games Workshop Hex Paint Pots. The way many painters have started as a child.

On the table you can also see some metal paint pots. Those are from Revell for model kits. They also where not so nice to use, as they where white spirit bases and did smell (something mothers love). I also used the revell brushes, who where not made for the fine details on mini’s, but got the work done.

As far as I can see for mini’s: the top ones in red are metal Khorn berserkers (do not know if they already had that name in those days.. maybe just chaos marines). On the right is can see one green model. Probably a Nurgle space marine that I converted from a normal spave marinen. The rest is to much of a blur to me.

The photo is a photo of a real photo (not digital one) as in those days digital camera’s where not yet there, or REALLY expensive (like thousands of dolars).

Ah… the good old times. Going to school. And go home and paint mini’s…. eurh, yes, mom, I did do my homework!
