A few weeks ago I did find my old Necromunda books and thought of the good old time I had playing that game. I started to get a bit curious about the new version and the new models.
Of course I was hooked again and decided that I want to play the game again. I did like the old Scavies a lot (as they where the mutant kind of models (Nurgle sickly kind of stuff), but not very powerfull. Escpecially with me as “tactical” leader….
But somehow I do like the new Esher models a lot. Found a few animated Necromunda short movies and got really inspired. Thus I am going to build and paint an Esher gang.
I also want to build some Necromunda terrain. And I want the bases and that scenery have the same color scheme. So I got myself a box of Necromunda “Mortalis Scenic” bases (25mm, 32mm, 40mm). And as I was unpacking and gathering my collection of bases I also found the Reaper Miniatures Science Fiction Base Toppers.
I decided to go for 2 different base colors: Black Metal (Scalecolor Metal n’ Alchemy SC63) for a steel look & Peridot Alchemy (Scale color Metal n’ Alchemy SC-78) for a dark golden metal.
All the(steel) metal ones will be given a rust effect. The gold metal ones I will give a more verdigris colored oxidation.
